Currently we were tracking all the changes of the Windows installer in a separated repository (https://github.com/GPII/gpii-wix-installer). We want to integrate it into our windows implementation repository (https://github.com/GPII/windows) so they will follow our usual reviewing procedure and we will minimize integration problems.
To fulfill this story we need to (potential subtasks):
- The source code for the installer will be made available in a public repository and go through a review process by a GPII core committer. It should be clear which committed files constitute the source code and in what format they are written. The committing of 3rd-party files, including binaries, should be avoided if possible.
- Upload our core1 alpha releases on github releases page of the project and potentially upload as nightly version every installer generated and created through Jenkins service into one of our CDNs.
- Cover UX-97 acceptance criteria.
