      Live Solutions Registry

      Description

Our current "solutions registry" consists of multiple very large JSON files, one per platform. The initial implementation of the "live" solutions registry will break these apart into smaller blocks, initially one per solution. The goals in doing so are:

      1. To make it easier to reuse material between solutions and settings.
      2. To make it easier to onboard individual solutions.

The reuse of materials between solutions and settings will make it easier to implement support for different operating system and application versions. The reuse of material between solutions and settings should also reduce the amount of material to review when onboarding a new solution, as the review can focus squarely on the pieces that make that solution unique, i.e. its specific settings, the manner in which it is launched, et cetera.

By isolating each solution as its own entity, we can also make it easier to cleanly onboard multiple solutions at the same time. Rather than having to manage multiple "merges" against a handful of very large JSON files, we can review individual solutions and settings in isolation as they are added or changed.
